They will study the processes used, focusing on artwork, plans, white card models, storyboards and the finished sets used in the\u00a0<em>Harry Potter<\/em>\u00a0film series.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wbstl-btn blue\" href=\"http:\/\/stage.wbstudiotour.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Script-to-Screen-Pre-and-post-visit-resource.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DOWNLOAD RESOURCE<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>CAMERA CHOICES &#8211; KS4, KS5<\/h4>\n<p>Students will have the opportunity to examine film sequences, with the intention of developing their understanding of how a Director communicates atmosphere, meaning and narrative.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wbstl-btn blue\" href=\"http:\/\/stage.wbstudiotour.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Camera-Choices-Pre-and-Post-visit-resource.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DOWNLOAD RESOURCE<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 id=\"storyboarding\">STORYBOARDING &#8211; KS4, KS5<\/h4>\n<p>Students will learn about the important role storyboards play in the process of filmmaking. They will learn how departments work together, thinking about how camera and actor positioning helps to tell the story of the film. As a group, students will create their own concept for a film and begin to storyboard a scene from the film.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"wbstl-btn blue\" href=\"http:\/\/stage.wbstudiotour.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Storyboarding-Pre-and-Post-visit-resource.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DOWNLOAD RESOURCE<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>MISE-EN-SC\u00c8NE &#8211; KS4, KS5<\/h4>\n<p>Students will discover the true meaning of mise-en-sc\u00e8ne and how nothing inside the film frame is an accident. Using authentic props and costumes from the Harry Potter films as examples, students will learn how the various elements of mise-en-sc\u00e8ne impact an audience.
